That's my thing, too. A lot of the "heretical" beliefs made their way into my path, as well as (and a part of me fears being laughed for admitting it) the book on Deryni Magic put out by Katherine Kurtz, which gave me much of my ritual framework. I've met her. She's a delightful lady.
My husband is Pagan, too. But, he's very lassez-faire about many things. As long as I don't start hiding Chick Tracts in his clean work pants for him to find or start only making fish on Fridays, we're fine (but he hates fish, so I don't think its a faith issue).
Incidentally, I also count myself as a Beauxbatons (I have very Fleur-like tendencies).
