I know the term, and I know its definition varies from person to person to culture, etc. And other stuff surrounding the concept varies likewise.

What are you meaning when you ask that question with that term?

Well for me it's the barrier between this world and the spirit world. But I was curious to see what kind of different answers I would get when I asked.
